The objective was to craft a formal, authoritative, and trustworthy brand identity for the Investor Protection Fund (IPF) , a special fund established with legal personality under the Capital Market Law No. (95) of 1992, specifically Article (23). The fund was created by a decision of the Prime Minister upon the proposal of the Minister and the proposal of the Board of Directors of the Authority, with the purpose of insuring dealers against non-commercial risks arising from the activities of companies operating in the field of securities.
The design approach focused on visually communicating the fund’s legal authority, institutional credibility, and protective mission. The brand identity needed to reflect that the fund operates within a structured legal framework, with a defined management system, clear relationships with member companies, established percentages for resource contributions, rules for spending and investing resources, specified insured risks, and transparent bases for compensation. The visual language balances legal formality (trust, authority, regulation) with protective assurance (safety, security, peace of mind for securities dealers). The final identity positions IPF as a pillar of stability and protection within Egypt’s capital markets, reassuring investors that the fund stands behind them against non-commercial risks.
